Moslems are obliged to memorize Quran. There are techniques to do that, thought since very old times.
One of the techniques is by hearing the verses many times repeatedly. Now, it's easy for moslems to do that, by means of computer technology.
Follow up:
Moslems can pick their favorite reciter, download the verses they are memorizing, and hear them from their mobile, iPod, MP3 players, or other sound players.
Usually Quran reciters never record their recitation. And they never recite it verse by verse separatedly, they like to recite the verses thoroughly in a complete chapter (juz) or surah.
Many thanks to http://www.versebyversequran.com/site/ that do such recording and verse splitting. Moslems now can memorize Quran easier than the times before.
My favorite reciter is Mishary Rashid al-Afasy. I think he is the imam of Kuwait's Great Mosque. His voice is nice to hear, and he recites Quran slowly, which is very helpful for memorization.
